There are many added benefits to following a raw food diet including having less trans fat and saturated fat. The advantages of being on a raw food diet include having more potassium, magnesium, and fiber in your diet which will allow your body to completely detoxify on a daily basis. There are so many added benefits of following a raw food diet, however it can be challenging at first. It is important when first deciding to follow a completely raw diet to take it in stages. First you should introduce raw foods into your diet, allowing yourself to get adjusted to the new foods. When you first start a raw food diet you should still eat foods as you normally do but with the addition of new raw foods. After you have successfully introduced some raw foods into your diet, the next step would be to eliminate some foods that are way over processed such as artificial drinks and food items containing no real concentrated fruit or vegetables. This can take some time getting used to and you will want to make sure that you have an accurate thermometer to ensure that you are getting the correct temperatures. In stage three, play around with different ways of cooking your raw foods less than 166 degrees F. Use the stove top, oven, and even try things like a crock pot. This will allow you to test the waters of how to cook raw. Now that you have completed the 3 steps preparing you to fully immerse yourself into the raw food diet, you are ready for step 4. All step four entails you to do is eat, eat all raw foods and truly enjoy your new lifestyle.
