Sure you and your friends were gabbing about what New Years Resolution you were going to take on in January. Many of you vowed to go to the gym every single day, to eat salads all the time, and to watch your carbs. Others decided to start giving back to their community and vowed to start helping out more, feeding the homeless, donating excess clothes, toys, etc. And others even decided to take on much bigger goals such as be a better spouse, mother/father, employee, or overall better person in general.

Now that is has been a month since the turn of the year, where are people now? The top 10 most annoying things about New Years Resolutions come February starts off with all the people saying how much they love the progress they have made. Yea right, you are lying. Lets face it you hate waking up at 5:30 to get to the gym only to find yourself wishing that you were still in bed and giving a half assed attempt at your workout. Number 8, you think that you are the only person to still be concentrating on your New Years Resolution. Douche bag, its supposed to last a whole year, don’t get too excited at the thought that you might succeed.

Don’t get too ahead of yourself too soon

The Number 8th most annoying thing about New Years Resolutions come February are the people that deny that they ever made a New Years Resolution. You failed, and you should just admit it and not do the “uh I didn’t really make a New Years Resolution” dance. You failed and you are annoying, shut up. Number 7 deals with the companies and businesses that are still trying to sell you on the idea that it’s not too late to make a New Years Resolution. If I didn’t make one by the time the clock turned 2010, I am sure as hell not going to be making one now. Stuff your money down your throat and choke on it you dirty businessmen.

Checks and Balances

Number 6 & 5 deal with the fact we need the turn of a year to change in order to change ourselves. If the unexamined life is not worth living, then the forced examined life is sure as hell not worth living. If you are not using checks and balances on your own life you are not going to make progress in your life, its just not going to happen. Numbers 4-2 all deal with all of the advertisements, emails, and commercials that are urging you to buy their products so that you don’t lose your momentum. I mean come on, and New Years Resolution is a self-inflicted regime and has nothing to do with anyone else.

And the Top most annoying thing about New Years Resolutions come February is the amount of money you have found you have spent on your new years resolution.
